Things to Consider:
There are enough details in describing my car's make, and model. I will probably go into detail a little more about the interior because I did buy all pink floor mats, seat covers, steering wheel covers, and always stock up on the cotton candy little trees which I feel is a peek into my personality a little more.
In my Narrative I am describing my experiences in my car and I feel the credibility in that is how long I have been driving and the fact I have a license. I really dig in on my moms sometimes over-protectiveness which some of my audience may or may not relate to, but we can all understand that feeling from highschool of having growing up for the next chapter in life because it's something most people have to go through.
For me I move the discussion by describing the event first and then going back to the life lessons learned or the overall and connecting it back to my car. How my car played the key role, and per story it varies just depending on what happened and who was involved but for the most part its set up as a description to conclusion/ lesson learned deal.
My intended audience is anyone who drives because you may have gone through this already or those who are getting ready to start driving so they can understand the role diving plays in your development.
I dont assume my readers have any values, in my narrative it's more about figuring out values and the role the freedom that comes with having a car taps into that. Im writing to show that conflict of finding your values and morals in high school, when there are so many risk factors like peer pressure coming at every side.
